We have partnered with a well-established construction management and general contracting firm with 50 years of success who is seeking a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This role can flex based on experience level: ideal for a strong PM ready to level up or a Senior PM who can take on larger, more complex work and mentor others along the way.
About the Opportunity
This organization has built a strong reputation for delivering projects across a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, multifamily, institutional, healthcare/life sciences, hospitality, and specialty projects. Their work is primarily throughout Long Island, the greater New York metro, and the Tri-State area.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage projects from preconstruction through final completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, buyout, subcontractor coordination, and client communication
- Develop scopes of work and support subcontractor/vendor procurement
- Negotiate contracts and manage project financial performance
- Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, field leadership, ownership, and consultants
- Maintain project documentation, reporting, and cost tracking
- Conduct regular jobsite visits and keep projects moving proactively
- Ensure schedule adherence, quality standards, and safety compliance
- Review monthly requisitions, change orders, and forecasting
- Drive problem-solving and decision-making throughout the life of the project
What They’re Looking For
- 5 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing control of budget, schedule, or communication
- Strong understanding of construction methods, subcontractor coordination, and project execution
- Comfortable leading projects independently and being accountable for results
- OSHA certification required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Experience with construction software
- Contract negotiation experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- PMP certification is a plus
- Senior-level candidates should bring experience managing larger and/or more complex commercial projects and mentoring junior team members
