Job Summary
The Coordinator, Trade Marketing, plays a vital role in executing trade marketing strategies to enhance sales and brand visibility in retail environments. This role requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, visual merchandising, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of retail programs and activations. As the primary point of contact for specific retailer programs, the Coordinator oversees all aspects from kickoff to performance tracking, with a strong emphasis on visual merchandising, in-store promotions, and custom shop needs.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to key stakeholders.
In-Store Presence Optimization
- Lead planning, execution, and tracking of Retailer Counterpro programs.
- Ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives.
Visual Merchandising & POS Activations
- Manage development and implementation of visually compelling in-store displays.
- Oversee SHOP order processing for display materials and fixtures.
- Coordinate orders for DMI-produced fixtures and factices, ensuring timely delivery.
- Track and analyze performance of visual merchandising and POS programs using data-driven insights.
- Manage in-store video updates, including agency briefings, purchase orders, and installations.
Merchandising Execution
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date product copy in ESKO for all merchandising materials.
- Create pre-pack codes for BW and FLU merchandising based on the merchandising directory.
- Prepare briefs and manage allocations.
Custom Shop & Special Projects
- Manage development of unique planograms and in-store staging for custom shop needs.
- Handle retailer-specific requests, including Sephora activations and fragrance linear updates.
- Take ownership of assigned special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing or visual merchandising (beauty/cosmetics preferred).
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Understanding of retail operations and visual merchandising principles.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for the beauty and cosmetics industry.
