We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Associate to join our team and contribute to our vibrant environment. The candidate will be setting up all the different products for display in a big open space showroom based on the different seasons. Your enthusiasm, organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively will be the key to thriving in this energetic setting.
Duties
- Set up the showroom, showcasing all the different product lines which are appropriate to the particular season.
- Consider different layout options, and remodeling ideas to inspire the buyers.
- Stocking & restocking the shelves, organizing displays, and merchandising products to create an inviting shopping environment for the clients.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks as and when needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required as enthusiasm for learning is highly valued.
- Experience in renovation, remodeling, or interior design provides a strong foundation for understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
- A passion for the sales environment involving interior upgrades will help you excel in this role.
This is a freelance / contractual position which can be paid based on the number of hours worked in person. The hourly rate is negotiable as long as you provide excellent service.
This position requires the candidate to be in person at our office location in Midtown Manhattan a few times each year as the display needs to be changed with the changing season.
