@HYVE Solutions, missions to help customers, business partners, and employees achieve success through shared goals, strategies, resources and technology solutions. 100% Onsite in Olive Branch Salary range: $75K - $95K Industrial Engineering ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Determine the capacity of production and process. • Improve production processes through the application of lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste, costs and increase quality. • Layout changes using AutoCAD. • Ergonomics studies and workstation design. • Understand and utilize 5S, 7 Waste, VSM, and Problem Solving. • Create and maintain Job Detail Records. • Perform time studies that include a detailed breakdown of value-added, non-value-added, and waste. • Train and assist equipment operators, and maintenance technicians in areas of responsibility. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • 2 years Manufacturing experience. Or New Graduate in this field of learning. • Proficient in Office Products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). • Proficient in AutoCAD. • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering. • Internships or Co-op experience in Industrial and Mechanical systems including packaging, layouts, conveying, and product handling. • Appliance or similar product assembly experience. Job Specifications Education and Work Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline. Two (2) or more years of experience working in a similar work environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Physical ability to work on and around industrial equipment, including occasional lifting to 50lbs. Analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of manufacturing systems Effective in time management and delegation. Skilled in debugging and root cause analysis Demonstrated knowledge of Lean philosophies and experienced in practicing those applications. Analytical and problem-solving skills Prior knowledge of using any ticket tracking system (i.e. Jira) Prior knowledge of using PLM system (i.e. Agile) would be a benefit Knowledge of manufacturing systems Job Complexity and Supervision Works on problems of moderate scope. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Comfortable in a fast-moving business and team environment. Excellent communication skills—written and verbal. Attention to detail and process. Self-starter and highly motivated Working Conditions Fast-paced work environment Certain areas are considered loud work environments and will require ear protection. Physical Demands Extensive use of computer equipment, and frequent telephone activity. Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required. Activities such as bending and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.
