JOB PURPOSE:

The Project Engineer III will lead complex, cross-functional projects that focus on providing insights and solutions that optimize enterprise performance. Lead and execute functions related to planning, conducting, monitoring, and reporting projects including but not limited to workload analyses, time studies, data analytics, and documentation while guiding others and applying a wide range of Industrial Engineering techniques to evaluate systems and processes in a variety of operational and support areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Lead enterprise-level workload and staffing studies. Manage cross-functional teams on large-scale projects with limited oversight. Drive process documentation, flowcharting, and system redesign efforts. Design and validate work standards, accountability programs, and performance dashboards. Conduct in-depth data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling. Lead efforts to benchmark both internal and external utility industry practices. Develop and manage key operational KPIs aligned with company objectives. Perform detailed economic analyses to support capital and operational decisions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - External

Qualification Requirements:

To perform the Performance Engineer 3 role, you must:

-Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.

- Must have knowledge of and ability to apply principles of engineering.

- Must have an occupationally significant combination of job knowledge; oral/written communication skills; mathematical ability; customer relations skills; resourcefulness; integrity; analytical and problem-solving abilities; skills in teamwork and promoting safety in the workplace; organizational ability; ability to work with a diverse population; ability to apply engineering principles and methods to utility design; spatial and form perception; and attention to detail.

-Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence.

-5 or more years of experience in industrial engineering, with project leadership experience is required.

-Advanced skills in IE software, data visualization, and statistical tools is required.
