*Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. Normal Shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.)*

Salary Range For Position
$ 22.10 - $ 25.10.

**Position Summary**
Employees in this position will apply a variety of maskants to parts in preparation for paint application. Maskers may be required to join the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program*. Maskers perform operations in accordance with Military and OEM specifications.
Plans the production for the shift by analyzing what parts are to be painted and coordinating the flow of parts to maximize quality and productivity. Assigns tasks to lower-level employees in the department.
Receives parts to be painted from paint assistant or coordinator. Verifies what processes are to be completed.
Work closely with Paint Assistants and other experienced Painters and Department Leads to complete work and prioritize tasks.
Follow shop traveler, technique card, customer Purchase Orders, and instructions from experienced Operators and Department Leads.
Mixes paint to specifications.
Paints parts with the appropriate thickness as described on the specifications. Verifies paint thickness using an Isoscope.
Paints by using the best technique to maximize quality and productivity.
Moves racks or parts between the staging area and oven.
General review of paperwork to ensure all previous operations were completed. Notify supervisor and Quality Assurance if any errors.
Prepare parts prior to operations including mechanical or chemical cleaning.
Prepare parts as called out in Purchase Orders and Tech Cards.
Perform inspection, measuring, and testing or part surfaces as required.
