The Server Assistant is responsible for supporting the service team in creating a seamless and elevated dining experience. This role includes clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers and guests, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests
- Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently and discreetly
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining room, service stations, and guest areas
- Refill water glasses, bring additional tableware, and support guest requests
- Stock and maintain service areas with necessary supplies
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team environment
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Must possess or obtain a valid Washoe County Food Handler Card
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
