Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming environment
- Present menus, answer questions, and make knowledgeable recommendations
- Accurately take and enter orders into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, and reset throughout service
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth food and beverage delivery
- Handle guest concerns and special requests with professionalism and care
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with hotel and local health regulations
- Process payments accurately and close out checks in a timely manner

- Previous serving experience preferred, especially in a high-volume or casual-upscale environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess or obtain a valid Washoe County Food Handler Card
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
