HX5 is currently seeking a qualified Junior Configuration Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of artifacts and asset inventories to create and maintain accurate, as-built models and drawings for assigned area.
• Use Visio and other modeling tools to create and maintain as-built configuration drawings or models.
• Review and research Change Requests and other work vehicles to complete tasks using Remedy™ ticketing system.
• Consult with engineers to understand configuration changes to update all related drawings and artifacts.
• Update and maintain the Configuration Management System (CMDB).
• Help update and maintain property records.

Salary: This position is expected to pay $90,000 - $120,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Education and Experience:

• Must have 6, or more, months of general IT experience.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Requirements:

• Be proficient in Microsoft Visio.
• Have experience with using Remedy™ ticketing system.
• Have a working knowledge of IT areas.
• Have experience working with Configuration Management.
• Have an ITIL certification.
• Have experience with Model Based Engineering or a Modeling tool (such as Cameo)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours. 

Other Position Requirements: 

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to travel, including air travel up to 10%.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
