What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit VP - Prime & Fixed Income position at HW3?
Hamlyn Williams has partnered with an International Banking Organization, with offices in the New York City metro region, looking to hire an Audit VP of Prime & Fxed Income.

As an Audit VP, you will:
- Manage and direct audits from beginning to end, which includes planning, testing, issue identification, workpaper review as well as reporting
- Lead audit team to execute reviews of high quality within a particular timeframe
- Bestow guidance, coaching and feedback to audit team
- Frequently communicate with stakeholders and audit senior management to convey audit strategy, testing results as well as corrective measures
- When needed, aid in the delivery and execution of IAD's broader audit plan and assurance responsibilities.
- Take part in quarterly and annual continuous monitoring / risk assessment process to identify business trends and changes in the business risk profile.
- As needed, assist with special projects related to business process improvements or departmental strategic initiatives.
- Track and validate closure of issues raised by the department and regulators.
- Develop, promote and maintain a collaborative and strong working relationship with AD business heads, external auditors, and regulators.
As an Audit VP, you will require:
- 10 years of experience within internal audit in the banking and finance industry.
- Well-built intellect of market risk banking/ capital market products, especially Prime and Fixed Income.
- Great perception of applicable regulatory standards / guidance for a Bank Holding Company / Broker Dealers (including the Market Risk Rule and Risk Management Program (CFR 23.600) requirements).
- Knowledge of audit techniques, internal controls, and workpaper standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization and can present. As well as professional skills, adequate to interact with all levels within the organization
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Salary : $160,000 - $210,000
