We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day human resources and payroll operations. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities, employee support, payroll processing, and HR compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time for all employees
  • Maintain payroll records, including timesheets, wage adjustments, deductions, and employee changes
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll inquiries
  • Assist with payroll-related reporting and documentation

Human Resources Support

  • Maintain and update employee personnel records and HR databases
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including employment paperwork and orientation activities
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, performance management processes, and HR programs
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and payroll regulations
  • Prepare payroll and HR-related reports for leadership and external agencies
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and records

Administrative Support

  • Track employee attendance, PTO, sick leave, and missed punches
  • Assist with employee training and system support as needed
  • Provide administrative assistance to leadership and corporate teams
  • Support special projects and additional HR initiatives as assigned



Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, HR coordination, or a related role
  • Working knowledge of payroll processing and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
