Our client in the Energy Corridor area is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner who has experience with both strong HR generalist and hands-on Talent Acquisition expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience across the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent development, compliance, and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR partner to assigned corporate business units
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns
- Support talent management initiatives including succession planning, employee development, retention, and engagement
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support business decision-making
- Partner with leadership on compensation and benefits initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support HR projects, process improvements, and organizational initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data within HRIS systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- 5–7 years of progressive HR Business Partner experience
- Strong HRBP and Talent Acquisition background required
- Experience supporting all core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, recruiting, compensation, workforce planning, and employee engagement
- Proven experience sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring professional-level talent
- Experience partnering directly with business leaders and providing strategic HR guidance
- HRIS and ATS experience required
- Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
