Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

The Pharmacy Technician 3 will support pharmacy operations within a clinic setting in the West Palm Beach area. The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist with prescription processing, inventory management, prescription refills, and customer service while interacting with patients and the affiliated primary care clinic.

Pharmacy Technician 3 Responsibilities

• Retrieve, count, measure, and prepare medications under pharmacist direction.
• Assist the pharmacist with prescription processing and refill requests.
• Obtain new prescription and prescription refill information.
• Access, enter, and retrieve prescription information using pharmacy computer systems.
• Assist with ordering, price-checking, inventory control, and restocking of medications and supplies.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to patients in a clinic-based pharmacy environment.
• Refer physician calls and medication-related questions to the pharmacist as appropriate.
• Operate a cash register and process transactions as needed.
• Perform basic computations related to pharmacy operations.
• Support coverage needs for other pharmacy technicians, including PTO coverage.
• Follow established pharmacy policies, procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prioritize daily assignments and work independently within established guidelines.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy staff, and the affiliated primary care clinic.
  
  

Pharmacy Technician 3 Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration
• Ability to travel in the West Palm Beach area
• Less than 2 years of professional leadership experience acceptable
• Strong customer service and communication skills #INDHS
