The Lab Technician will work in a laboratory setting and work in accordance to GLP standards.
Lab Technician Responsibilities:
- Understands and follows laboratory protocols and completes tasks in a timely fashion.
- Familiarity with routine molecular biology techniques.
- Vector construction and E. coli transformation
- DNA extraction (plasmid and genomic) and PCR
- Helps formulate work plans and efficiently manages own daily workload.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in biochemistry, biological science, genetics, or related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills and detail orientated.
- Ability to follow company safety policies and procedures.
