About The Role
- Execute production control activities (order review, shortage analysis, cycle counting)
- Create and manage shop orders to align production with customer demand
- Maintain accuracy in ERP/MRP systems (lead times, routings, order status)
- Lead daily cross-functional production meetings to drive priorities and resolve constraints
- Balance demand, capacity, and machine availability for on-time delivery
- Proactively identify risks and develop recovery or alternate plans
- Support continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and 5S initiatives
- 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (Oracle preferred), Kanban, and Lean principles
- Experience with capacity planning and machine shop scheduling
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze data and performance metrics
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions
- Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
- Someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive who can balance multiple priorities, anticipate risks, and drive execution in a dynamic production environment.
