- Own and support cost accounting activities, including standard cost development, variance analysis, and month-end close
- Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate, data-driven analysis
- Build and deliver clear financial reports and presentations for site and divisional leadership
- Collaborate with the Site Controller and cross-functional teams on special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work with large, complex data sets to turn numbers into actionable insight
- Uphold high standards for data integrity, safety, quality, and compliance
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (this is essential)
- 2 years in cost accounting, financial analysis, or financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with detailed financial data
- Experience working in or alongside ERP manufacturing systems
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance partners
- A detail-oriented mindset with curiosity about how things are made and how they can be improved
- Hands-on experience with standard costs, variance analysis, and forecasting
- Exposure to Power BI, SQL, or advanced reporting tools
- Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, product structures, or routings
- Confidence presenting insights and recommendations to leadership
- A proactive mindset — you look for answers, not just errors
