Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in the community or in their home.
Direct Support Staff provide supportive services to assigned members in our community. We help our clients to live as independently as possible. Activities include: assist with shopping, cooking, getting ready for work and attending activities such as paint night or bowling league.

Must be able to pass background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with behavior management and intervention strategies
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Implement long-term care plans tailored to each individual's needs
- Work collaboratively with a team to ensure the well-being of residents
Requirements
- Experience in direct support, teaching, coaching or caregiving preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to provide first aid when necessary
- Willingness to lift and assist residents when needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required and must be 21 or older and have a valid driver's license
-A vehicle to transport individuals is required and must pass inspection.
