Position Overview
A growing organization is seeking a hands-on IT Support Representative to provide onsite and remote technical support for end users. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily IT operations, including hardware deployment, system setup, and troubleshooting. A major focus of this position will be assisting with equipment setup, migration, and validation during a facility transition into a newly constructed building.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to help desk tickets and provide first-level technical support to end users across multiple locations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application-related issues; escalate complex issues as needed
- Perform laptop/desktop imaging, software installations, and system configurations
- Set up and deploy workstations, including desktops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
- Support production teams with IT equipment setup, relocation, and troubleshooting to ensure operational continuity
- Assist with IT equipment migration and validation during facility transition to a new building
- Configure, test, document, and ship systems; provide post-deployment support as needed
- Perform basic network troubleshooting, including verifying connectivity at patch panel and switch levels
- Collaborate with internal IT teams, including infrastructure and service desk, to resolve technical issues
- Support and maintain printers, including coordinating service and maintenance requests
- Track and maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and assets
- Document troubleshooting steps and provide detailed notes for escalations
- Cross-train across IT functions to ensure coverage and support for critical business needs
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and Microsoft Windows 11
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Experience with workstation setup, imaging, and software deployment tools (e.g., distribution platforms)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, switches, connectivity) preferred
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and customer-focused approach to end-user support
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments
- Exposure to IT infrastructure projects such as site builds, relocations, or system migrations
