Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution Systems
Duration: Direct Hire / Full-Time
Short Summary about Job:
HukariAscendent is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support power distribution system design, analysis, and engineering activities. This is a direct-hire, full-time position on a 4x10 work schedule. No per diem or travel is required for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience working with power distribution systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution system design, protection, and coordination
- Proficiency with electrical engineering analysis software (e.g., SKM, ETAP, or similar)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting Arc Flash studies (preferred, not required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience in the nuclear power or DOE industry
