Job Title: Project Controls Engineer
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Short Summary about Job: Provides cost and schedule engineering support to the Nuclear Projects team, developing integrated Primavera P6 project schedules covering engineering, design, procurement, fabrication, and construction deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Background in cost and schedule engineering, including schedule development, progress measurement, and cost/schedule integration
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 for developing and maintaining project schedules
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and DelTek Cobra
- Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting DOE nuclear projects or similarly regulated environments
- Experience developing schedules covering engineering, design, procurement, fabrication, and construction phases
- Familiarity with DOE project controls requirements and reporting
Miscellaneous/Additional Information:
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance/access authorization as required
- May require access to Oak Ridge, TN DOE sites
Job Title: Senior Project Controls Engineer
Duration: Direct Hire
Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Short Summary about Job: Provides senior-level cost and schedule engineering support to the Nuclear Projects team, leading project controls activities and mentoring junior staff while ensuring adherence to Amentum's Beyond Zero safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Extensive senior-level background in cost and schedule engineering
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 for developing and maintaining complex project schedules
- Strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and DelTek Cobra
- Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to lead project controls efforts and mentor less experienced staff
- Commitment to embracing and promoting Amentum's Beyond Zero/Safety principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior senior-level experience supporting DOE nuclear projects or similarly regulated environments
- Experience leading cost/schedule integration across engineering, design, procurement, fabrication, and construction
