Warehouse Associate (Shipping & Packaging): Janesville, Wisconsin
Our customer in Janesville, Wisconsin is looking for a dependable, detailoriented individual to join their team as a Warehouse Associate to work fulltime on 2nd shift. In this role, you will support warehouse operations by retrieving orders, cutting materials to size, packaging products, and preparing shipments while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:
- Review customer orders and retrieve the correct products accurately.
- Operate a cutting table to cut materials to required specifications.
- Inspect materials for accuracy in quantity, color, and size.
- Package materials and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Build pallets and crates based on order size and requirements.
- Label packaged materials and photograph orders prior to shipment
- Identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrect materials to the Warehouse Manager.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound deliveries using a forklift or by hand.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and work areas.
- Follow all safety and health regulations at all times.
- Assist with training newly hired warehouse employees as needed.
Warehouse Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Proficient math skills for measurements and order accuracy.
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Experience with steel banding, crimping, and use of nail or staple guns.
- Woodworking or crating experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
Pay for Warehouse Associate: $18.00–$22.00/hour, depending on experience.
