Inside Sales Representative: Aurora, ILWe are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and building long-term relationships within military and aerospace markets. The ideal candidate has experience navigating government bidding platforms and thrives in a fast-paced, technical sales environment.Key Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities through business directories, client referrals, trade shows, and conferencesEngage with new and existing customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product solutionsAssist customers in selecting products that meet specifications and regulatory requirementsEffectively communicate product features, capabilities, and limitationsRespond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and product applicationsNegotiate pricing, terms, and service agreementsPrepare sales contracts and submit accurate orders for processingManage the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale supportCollaborate with internal teams to share customer feedback, sales strategies, and market insightsConduct annual (or more frequent, based on sales volume) customer visits to maintain strong relationshipsProvide follow-up support to ensure customer satisfaction and retentionSkills & Experience:Education: High School Diploma required; relevant higher education preferredExperience: 1 years of military sales experience required; Aerospace sales experience highly preferredKnowledge: Ability to interpret blueprints requiredSoftware: Experience using sam.gov and other government/military bidding platforms requiredWhat We Offer: Health and Dental InsuranceWeekly Pay401(k) PTOPaid HolidaysPay: $65,000-70,000/year commissionType: Full-time, 1st shift, On-site Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. Apply today and start closing your next big opportunity!Hughes Recruiting & Consulting is a full-service human resources agency headquartered in Freeport, IL, and has 11 locations across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
