Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, processing orders, and driving sales through exceptional service and product knowledge. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and availability
- Process orders, quotes, and invoices accurately and efficiently
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and walk-in customers
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to meet customer needs
- Work closely with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure order fulfillment
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area
- Stay informed about new products and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inside sales, retail, or customer service (preferably in building materials or construction)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with lumber, hardware, or construction materials is a plus
- Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn new software
