Logistics Driver with Customer Service Focus

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during deliveries. A strong understanding of route driving and the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles is essential.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience with warehouse operations is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is desirable. CDL helpful but not required.
• Ability to operate both manual transmission and automatic vehicles.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
• Physical ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual tasks as required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
