HTI is seeking a technical Tool and Die Technician for an automotive stamping manufacturer in Laurinburg, NC! This position is a DIRECT HIRE position on 1 st shift (M-F 7:30AM-4:00PM)! Pay starting at $30/hr!

The Tool & Die Technician will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing tools/dies that support stamping operations. - Repairs and modifies tooling to support production.
- Builds fixtures for new production jobs.
- Performs preventative maintenance work on progressive dies.
- Provides problem-solving input from a tooling standpoint.
- Completes all company required documentation and procedures for preventive maintenance and tooling activities.
- Has the authority to stop production from running should he/she feel there is bad product being produced or there is a safety issue with die or its components.
- Follow all company safety policies (eg, Lockout tagout etc).
- Shall inform tooling lead of any perishable tools / blocks that may be required from working on dies both repair and preventive maintenance.
- Must adhere to Safety Standards and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment Other duties as assigned.
