About the Role
At Southeastern Tool & Die, we take pride in producing high-quality parts and products for a variety of industries. We’re a hands-on, team-focused workplace where everyone plays an important role in getting the job done right. Experience in powder coating or industrial painting is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person who’s reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for powder coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, etc.)
- Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray gun equipment
- Operate curing ovens and monitor baking process
- Inspect finished parts for coating thickness, color match, and uniformity
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in powder coating or industrial painting (preferred)
- Knowledge of powder coating techniques and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or schematics
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 45lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm
Pay: $16 to $17 (depending on experience)
Salary : $16 - $17
