Executive Summary: HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Project Manager Revenue Cycle Strategic Initiatives to support multiple strategic initiatives across the revenue cycle for a leading complex healthcare organization. This team operates at the intersection of business operations and technology, partnering with revenue cycle leaders, operational teams, and stakeholders to improve processes, reporting, and overall financial performance.
Position Description: The Project Manager will oversee multiple revenue cycle projects and workstreams, establishing project scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking professional who can build strong partnerships, communicate effectively across teams, and identify opportunities to improve or automate existing processes while understanding how revenue cycle functions flow throughout a complex healthcare organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple revenue cycle projects and workstreams from initiation through completion.
- Develop and maintain project scopes, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and implementation plans.
- Partner closely with revenue cycle, operational, technology, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate collaboration between revenue cycle teams and other groups supporting the organization’s strategic initiatives.
- Track project risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and action items.
- Provide clear and timely project updates to the Program Manager and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, document decisions, and ensure appropriate follow-through.
- Support initiatives involving accounts receivable assessments, bad-debt write-offs, patient liability improvement, AR management, workflow improvement, and related revenue cycle priorities.
- Evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for standardization, efficiency, and automation.
- Help translate business needs into clear project requirements and actionable plans.
- Maintain project documentation using Microsoft 365 tools, Teams channels, and SharePoint.
- Prepare status reports, presentations, meeting materials, and executive-level communications.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining alignment across multiple projects.
- Escalate risks, barriers, and decisions requiring Program Manager or leadership involvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated project-management experience within healthcare revenue cycle
- Strong understanding of how revenue cycle functions and processes flow across a healthcare organization
- Experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, scopes, and timelines simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively across operational, business, and technology teams
