Position Summary:
The Office Clerk provides critical administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient daily operations. This role involves managing office and warehouse materials, data tracking, communication distribution, and supporting both internal and external customers. The Office Clerk is key in maintaining organization, accurate record-keeping, and seamless information flow within the office.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general office administrative duties, including coordinating office and warehouse supplies, processing mail, and supporting documentation needs.
  • Utilize all major Microsoft Applications daily (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for communication, document management, and metric tracking.
  • Manage shipping and receiving using FedEx Ship Manager or similar platforms.
  • Oversee management of indirect materials for both office and warehouse operations.
  • Create and distribute warehouse-related announcements, handouts, and huddle talk materials.
  • Track and reconcile data and key metrics across various applications to ensure accuracy and effective reporting.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, employees, and visitors to answer questions, provide information, and resolve concerns.
  • Answer telephones, route calls, and take messages as needed.
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities and transactions.
  • Maintain and update organized filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems.
  • Compute, record, and proofread data, ensuring all records and reports are error-free and confidential.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities.
  • Proven customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Independent work ethic and ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficiency with shipping software (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager) is a plus.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of administrative and/or customer service experience required.
