What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Hoxton Circle?
A global real estate developer and management company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. You’ll work alongside the Director of Finance and a dynamic team to lead efforts on month-end close, corporate reporting, analysis, and support a system transformation. You’ll also oversee and mentor junior members of the team, liaise with internal and external stakeholders as it relates to accounting initiatives and projects, and lead additional automation efforts.
Note this opportunity requires you to work 3 days a week from their office in Queens, with occasional time spent in the NYC mid-town office.
Desired Experience:
- 4-5 years of accounting experience; ideal backgrounds include real estate or retail, with an emphasis on ASC 606/CAMs
- Active CPA license, or license in progress
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity by proactively exploring the story behind the numbers
