A leading, national corporation is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build foundational accounting experience.Responsibilities:• Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.• Apply customer payments, reconcile AR transactions, and maintain up-to-date customer account records.• Monitor aging reports and assist with collections efforts, including follow-up on past-due accounts.• Resolve billing discrepancies by communicating with internal teams and customers.• Reconcile bank deposits and support month-end AR close activities.• Assist with preparing AR reports, statements, and audit requests.• Help maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.• Support the broader accounting team with additional tasks as needed.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.• Basic understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Receivable processes.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is a plus.• Strong organizational and time-management skills.• Excellent communication and customer service skills.• Ability to work well in a team and a willingness to learn.
