Financial Controller

A growing, well-capitalized organization is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its accounting, financial planning, and operational finance functions. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with executive leadership and playing a key part in shaping financial strategy, controls, and long-term performance.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys building structure, driving process improvement, and serving as a trusted advisor to the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership, overseeing accounting operations, financial planning, and performance management
• Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting
• Provide financial insight on strategic initiatives including long-range planning, investments, contracts, and business partnerships
• Drive continuous improvement of budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking processes across the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Approximately 10 years of progressive accounting and FP&A experience
• Proven experience leading accounting operations and partnering with senior leadership
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and business analytics
• Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite experience strongly preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
