What Your Day Will Look Like
As an Executive Assistant/ Office Manager at Howden US, you’ll provide high-level administrative and project support to senior executives, ensuring seamless operations and enabling leadership to focus on strategic priorities. Expect to:
- Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and arrange domestic/international travel.
- Prepare board papers, presentations, and executive communications.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to facilitate projects and initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including vendor management, supply ordering, and facilities coordination to maintain an efficient and professional work environment.
- Implement and maintain office procedures and systems, driving efficiency and supporting organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS360).
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to proactively support executive decision-making.
- Participate in leadership meetings, presentations, and strategy sessions.
- Support cross-functional initiatives including process improvement, training, and thought leadership.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success
- 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Office Manager (insurance or consultancy sector experience preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in CRM and agency management systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and produce accurate documentation under tight deadlines
- Collaborative mindset—comfortable working with executives, internal teams, and external partners
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for supporting leadership
