Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site General Manager for our Gainesville, FL location who will take ownership of driving sales, increasing membership, and growing overall studio revenue. This is a sales-driven role where success is measured by your ability to consistently generate new memberships, retain existing clients, and lead a team focused on hitting sales targets.
The General Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the full membership sales cycle (lead generation, follow-ups, and closing), and creating a high-performance, sales-oriented culture within the studio. You will also oversee daily operations, staff performance, scheduling, and studio standards, but the primary focus of this role is revenue growth and member acquisition.
This position also plays a key role in community outreach, partnerships, and local marketing efforts to drive traffic, build brand awareness, and convert prospects into long-term members.
Qualifications
• Proven sales experience required (fitness or membership sales strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and drive revenue growth
• Strong closing skills and confidence in leading the full sales process
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate a team around sales performance
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
• Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking abilities
• Experience in fitness, wellness, or health-related industries is a plus
• Comfortable using CRM systems, scheduling tools, and sales tracking software
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
