Responsibilities
- Provide real-time verbal translation during daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and field coordination.
- Translate technical construction instructions between site leadership and field crews.
- Support communication between U.S. management and bilingual subcontractors.
- Assist with written translation of safety documents, work procedures, and project updates.
- Ensure accurate communication of site expectations, schedule updates, and compliance standards.
- Help prevent miscommunication that could impact safety, quality, or schedule.
- Move throughout active construction areas to support supervisors and field teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all project communications.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (verbal and written).
- Previous construction or semiconductor site experience preferred.
- Familiarity with site safety standards (OSHA / high-tech fab environments).
- Strong understanding of construction terminology.
- Professional, clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working full-time on-site in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation required.
