The Speech Language Pathologist works under the leadership of our Director of Rehabilitation.
Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities:
- The Speech Language Pathologist will work to provide therapy to our residents throughout our facility.
- Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech-language services to facilitate rehabilitation.
- Speech Language Pathologist facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing, to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits.
- Speech Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive treatment plans including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
- Will provide comprehensive treatments to patients utilizing modalities and modify treatment plans as indicated while adhering to precautions.
- Will participate in developing and implementation of resident assessments and care plans.
- Will work with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents’ quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited college with an MS in Speech-Language Pathology Therapist that ASHA recognizes.
- Must provide current license and/or registration as Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience with the geriatric population is preferred.
