Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Project Manager in our Transportation business unit. This position requires 10 years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Interact and communicate with clients, vendors, and staff of all levels.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
- Lead a team to develop engineering plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E).
- Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations.
- Lead general transportation engineering services for municipal, county, and state agencies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and feasibility studies.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Critical thinking and analysis
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Proficient in the use of MicroStation and InRoads/PowerGeoPa/OpenRoads Designer or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must complete a background check
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
SALARY RANGE:
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
