JOB TITLE: AP Processor

DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: 

REPORT TO: Director of Accounts Payable

LOCATION: Woodbury, NY

COMPENSATION: $50,000-55,000

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Perform routine accounting work in the accounts payable function.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for all aspects of AP
• Threewaymatching of invoices, purchase orders and receiving documents
• Coding of invoices
• Interact with outside vendors which includes checking status on statements and making sure invoices are paid on time.
• Interact with internal resources to get approvals and check status ofinvoices
• Cutting checks and mailing them out in a timely fashion
• Other duties may be assigned, as needed orrequired

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 3 years of accounts payable experience
• Independent problem solvingskills
• Proficiency in MS word andexcel
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Previous SAP experience and Open text a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis. Manual dexterity and coordinate are required over 50% of the work week while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
