Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior SEO Analyst to lead and execute enterprise SEO and emerging AI-discoverability initiatives across a large, complex digital ecosystem. This individual will combine deep technical SEO expertise, advanced analytics, content optimization, and project leadership to improve visibility across both traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms.

The Senior SEO Analyst will partner closely with content, marketing, engineering, product, analytics, social, communications, and subject-matter teams to identify search opportunities, prioritize topics, develop content direction and briefs, and manage initiatives through execution and measurement.

A key component of this role will be understanding how content and brand authority are represented not only in traditional organic search, but also within ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI experiences, knowledge graphs, and other AI-driven discovery environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute enterprise SEO strategies designed to improve organic search visibility, audience engagement, and measurable business outcomes.
• Coordinate SEO initiatives across content, marketing, product, engineering, analytics, and subject-matter teams.
• Conduct keyword, topic, audience, competitor, and search-intent research to identify optimization opportunities.
• Translate SEO and audience insights into actionable content recommendations, briefs, assignments, and optimization strategies.
• Manage SEO project workflows, content prioritization, assignments, lifecycle tracking, and reporting through project-management tools.
• Evaluate and improve technical SEO factors including crawlability, indexability, site performance, structured content, internal linking, metadata, and overall search visibility.
• Develop reporting that connects organic search performance and AI visibility to business outcomes at the topic, content, and audience level.
• Analyze large-scale datasets using Python, APIs, Google Search Console, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and other SEO/reporting platforms.
• Measure brand and content visibility across AI-powered experiences, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI, evaluating citation share, mention share, source inclusion, competitor presence, answer accuracy, and visibility volatility.
• Improve machine-readable content and entity representation across search engines, knowledge graphs, and AI systems.
• Optimize schema markup, structured data, semantic HTML, metadata, content architecture, and passage-level content retrieval.
• Identify opportunities to improve the representation of key entities, topics, services, experts, and locations across search and AI ecosystems.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to translate technical SEO findings into prioritized and actionable enhancements.
• Monitor changes in traditional search and generative/AI search behavior and recommend adjustments to content and optimization strategies.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of hands-on SEO experience, including demonstrated success leading SEO strategy for enterprise-scale or complex brands.
• Advanced knowledge of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexation, site architecture, structured content, site performance, and search visibility.
• Strong analytical and data manipulation skills, including hands-on experience with Python, APIs, Google Search Console, Adobe CJA, and large-scale datasets.
• Experience developing SEO measurement frameworks and connecting organic search performance to meaningful business outcomes.
• Understanding of emerging AI search, generative search, and answer-engine optimization concepts.
• Experience evaluating visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI experiences.
• Strong knowledge of schema markup, structured data, semantic HTML, metadata, content architecture, entity optimization, and knowledge graphs.
• Experience optimizing content for machine readability, semantic understanding, and passage-level retrieval.
• Strong SEO research capabilities across keywords, topics, competitors, audiences, search intent, and content performance.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex SEO and analytics findings into clear recommendations for marketing, content, product, and engineering teams.
• Experience managing multiple SEO initiatives, workflows, deliverables, and stakeholders within a complex enterprise environment.
• Excellent communication, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within large-scale content ecosystems containing significant volumes of structured and unstructured content.
• Familiarity with healthcare, life sciences, financial services, or another highly complex and regulated industry.
• Experience with entity-based SEO, knowledge graphs, semantic search, or AI content retrieval.
• Experience developing dashboards or automated reporting using APIs and Python.
• Familiarity with evolving Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI visibility measurement practices.
