Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter to effectively load data into reporting structures.
- Adhere to development standards by utilizing reusable components and automation plans.
- Optimize and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure efficient data handling.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to validate processes and ensure quality.
- Collaborate with data modelers and DBAs for architecture optimization and performance tuning.
- Document operational procedures and maintain compliance with secure coding principles.
- Utilize Informatica Data Quality for data profiling and validation prior to transformation.
- 5 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- 5 years of proficiency in Oracle and PL/SQL, with strong coding and performance tuning abilities.
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Shell.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with healthcare data, including Medicaid and Medicare.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulatory security requirements.
- Experience with modern technologies such as Snowflake or AWS.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
