- Gather, clarify, and document business and user requirements for technical initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support project delivery
- Lead or facilitate Agile ceremonies and contribute to Scrum team effectiveness
- Create and maintain project and system documentation, including process flows, user stories, and use cases
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
- Support project management activities using established methodologies and tools
- Work with teams to track progress, manage documentation, and support delivery timelines
- Use collaboration tools and office applications to communicate updates and maintain records
- 10 years of experience in business analysis, project management, Scrum, or a related senior-level role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum team practices
- Ability to support both Agile and traditional project management approaches
- Familiarity with SQL and basic database concepts
- Experience using requirements management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Comfort using Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools
- Ability to maintain clear, organized project documentation
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work onsite within a 50-mile radius of the Board offices in the greater DC metro area
- Experience supporting cloud-related development efforts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI and Power Automate
- Experience with version control or documentation management tools such as Git or SharePoint
- Background in stakeholder management techniques and tools
- Background in business process improvement or complex technical environments
