Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and programs that promote exceptional patient care
Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, fostering a culture of open communication, teamwork, and respect
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize patient outcomes
Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and internal policies
Provide direct patient care as needed, utilizing clinical expertise and knowledge to make informed decisions
Mentor and coach staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practices and procedures
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
