Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Monitor resident health status, medication administration, and treatment outcomes to ensure optimal patient care.
- Uphold compliance with regulatory standards, including Medicare guidelines and resident rights.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing personnel, fostering a positive work environment conducive to professional growth.
- Oversee nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.
- Stay abreast of best practices in nursing administration and implement process improvements as needed.
- Experience in Skilled nursing or Long term care facility is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Active RN/LPN license with proven experience in acute care settings.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and nursing systems.
- Prior experience in nurse management or nursing administration roles.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and team building.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and commitment to upholding resident rights.
