JOB SUMMARY
As a Graphic Designer Manager within the internal Business Development/Marketing department of a professional services firm, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions that align with the firm’s branding and business goals. You will also assist in maintaining graphic assets within our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This role is ideal for a creative individual with strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Execution
- Create visually compelling assets for internal and external use, including presentations, reports, proposals, infographics, email templates, social media graphics, and event materials.
- Ensure all designs adhere to the firm’s branding guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms. Support the development of marketing campaigns by creating engaging visuals tailored to the target audience.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and business development teams to understand design requirements and deliver on project objectives.
- Collaborate with senior designers and stakeholders to iterate on concepts and refine deliverables.
Production Support
- Prepare and format files for both digital and print production.
- Maintain an organized library of design assets and templates for easy accessibility.
Brand Stewardship
- Help maintain and evolve the firm’s visual identity by contributing fresh ideas and suggesting design innovations. Assist in quality assurance to ensure all materials align with brand standards.
Project Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Respond promptly to feedback and implement changes as needed.
- Work with the team to help develop workflows, processes, and systems to manage the design pipeline.
- Collaborate with the team on the firm’s Digital Asset Management tool (DAM), ensuring proper organization and usage of assets
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of professional design experience (internships or freelance work may be considered). Familiarity with working in a corporate or professional services environment is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for designing corporate documents. Familiarity with web design tools and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a bonus.
- Video editing skills is a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, error-free work. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adaptability to feedback and a willingness to learn and grow.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Honigman provides a generous total compensation package, which includes comprehensive health and well-being benefits, as well as 401k and profit sharing. The anticipated annual pay range for this role is $75,000 to $100,000 (non-exempt). The actual offered pay rate will be determined based on various factors, including qualifications, experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity considerations.
