Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the hotel, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests. This is a vital role in providing exceptional hospitality services. Weekends are required.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are clean and presentable, including hallways, lobbies, and common areas
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, and remove trash
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management
- Follow established procedures for handling and storing cleaning products
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties
Experience:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards is beneficial
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members
Note: This position must be paid at least minimum wage or according to industry standards. Internship positions must also be compensated.
