Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests at our hotel or resort. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries and requests efficiently. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a warm, friendly check-in experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
  • Conduct night audits as required to ensure accurate financial reporting and guest account management.
  • Assist guests with check-out procedures, ensuring all charges are accurate and resolved.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain organized records of guest interactions and transactions for future reference.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and improve overall service quality.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospitality with a focus on guest services.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with guests.
  • Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is preferred.
  • Ability to build rapport with guests through exceptional customer service skills.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse clientele.
  • Experience in resort or hotel environments is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns efficiently.
  • Attention to detail in managing reservations and guest accounts.

Pay: $20.41 - $21.52 per hour
