Job Summary
Homeland has partnered with a leading healthcare system known for its compassionate, high-quality care across hospitals and outpatient centers to hire a Regional Oncology Operations Manager (RN). The Regional Oncology Operations Manager (RN) provides leadership and oversight for multiple physician oncology clinics and hospital-based infusion centers, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and compassionate oncology and hematology care aligned with the organization’s mission.
As the Regional Oncology Operations Manager (RN), you will lead and support a team of clinical and administrative professionals, driving operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement across all locations. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of regional oncology and hematology clinics and infusion centers
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize clinic flow and enhance the patient experience
- Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development for clinical and administrative staff
- Monitor and improve key quality, safety, and patient satisfaction metrics
- Manage budgets, payroll, and resource utilization to ensure financial and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and The Joint Commission
- Partner with business and financial services teams to support timely and accurate billing and collections
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused culture that reflects the organization’s mission and values
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or oncology practice setting
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or management experience in a multi-physician practice
- Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, EMR systems, and regulatory compliance
- Licensure: Current Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) strongly preferred
- Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and clinical information systems
- Other requirements: Valid Tennessee driver’s license and insurance; ability to travel locally between sites
