This critical position sits within the Azure Cloud Security team and plays a key role in protecting the integrity, performance, and security of the organization's Azure environment.
We’re looking for a technically strong and proactive engineer who excels in fast-paced settings. The ideal candidate is both hands-on with cloud security and confident in leading and driving security initiatives. This hybrid role requires on-site presence at the client’s headquarters in Downtown Atlanta.

Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert on Azure, with a strong emphasis on cloud security
- Own and maintain the overall health and security posture of the Azure environment
- Lead cloud security initiatives and manage a Security Analyst reporting directly to you
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to support and secure Azure networking
- Enforce cloud security best practices and ensure compliance across all deployments
- Manage and optimize Azure Resource Groups, maintaining proper structure and policy enforcement
- Work cross-functionally to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions
- Leverage tools such as Azure Sentinel, Wiz, and others to monitor and strengthen security
- Demonstrate deep technical knowledge of Azure Entra and Enterprise Application Management
- Maintain awareness of adjacent technologies, such as Azure Virtual Desktop, even if not directly responsible
- Use PowerShell scripting to automate and manage configurations
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools is highly desirable
- Responsibilities
- 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering and DevOps, with a strong focus on securing and optimizing Azure environments
- Proven expertise as an Azure security engineer in enterprise settings
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model with on-site presence as needed
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Natural leadership skills, with the ability to guide others without formal management authority
- Familiarity with enterprise-grade cloud security tools, scripting languages, and best practices
- In-depth experience with Microsoft Azure architecture, networking, and resource management, preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Azure security, monitoring, and compliance tools, preferred
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting; experience with Terraform is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of Azure Entra, Azure Sentinel, and Enterprise Application Management, preferred
- Prior experience managing or securing large-scale or enterprise-level Azure environments is a bonus
