Process Engineer

Holland Sharpe is seeking a motivated and experienced Process Engineer to join a well-established, industry-leading manufacturing operation in Clarksville, TN.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, engineering project management, continuous improvement, and problem-solving. Experience in automotive manufacturing, metal processing, or chemical engineering environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze production processes, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and perform root cause analysis to resolve equipment and component failures.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to optimize manufacturing operations.
• Monitor manufacturing performance and utilize production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare engineering documentation, project updates, and performance reports for leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles and other process optimization techniques.
• Ensure engineering projects and process improvements align with company safety, quality, and operational standards.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing engineering projects, timelines, and resources.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in automotive manufacturing, metal processing, or chemical-related manufacturing.
• Background in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering.
• Experience with Six Sigma, FMEA, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with manufacturing data analysis, production KPIs, and performance improvement.
• Experience supporting equipment improvements, process validation, or manufacturing automation.
