What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plastic Injection Molding Setup Specialist position at Holland Sharpe Inc.?
At Holland Sharpe, our production floor comes alive on 2nd and 3rd shift. As a Plastic Injection Molding Setup Specialist, you’ll arrive ready to change over molds, dial in presses, and keep a fleet of machines running smoothly so quality parts ship on time.
What Your Shift Looks LikeYou’ll start by reviewing the next run, pulling the right tooling, and performing a precise mold change on our injection presses. You’ll set up each press to produce first-pass quality parts, then move across the floor to monitor and fine-tune between 12–24 machines. If an alarm pops or a part drifts from spec, you’re there to troubleshoot quickly and keep output steady. When a run wraps, you’ll clean dies thoroughly so the next shift inherits clean, production-ready equipment. Along the way, you’ll work confidently with hydraulic, electric, and magnetic clamps.
