Part-Time Cook

24 - 30 hours per week

Every Other Weekend And Weekdays

Our beautiful Breton Woods Campus is looking to add a Cook to our amazing dining services team. The Cook prepares and cooks food for residents using standardized recipes; and assures that all prepared food items meet standards for temperature, quality, consistency, freshness, taste, and appearance. If you have the heart for caregiving and the passion to cook, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food for residents and staff using standardized recipes and complying with regulatory requirements
• Assures that all prepared food items meet standards for temperature, quality, consistency, freshness, taste, and appearance
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, butchering meat, crafting sauces)
• Clean up the station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  
  

Wage

• Hourly wage based on experience
• Yearly wage increase
  
  

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Six months to one year of cooking experience with similar large-scale food preparation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 60 pounds
• Pass a basic physical
• Pass a background check

Schedule And Hours

• Shifts vary: 5:30am - 2:00pm, 11:00am - 7:30pm; two days per week
• Every other weekend & holiday rotation requirement
